Your files

We treat client files as confidential. We use them to do your project and for nothing else. We’ll sign a mutual NDA on request; ask before you send files.

Who may see them

Translators and reviewers who work on your project may handle your files, under confidentiality obligations. Our hosting and email providers process data to deliver the service.

How files move

The site uses HTTPS. We don’t put files at public URLs. Email attachments aren’t encrypted by default. If your documents need encrypted transfer, tell us first and we’ll agree on a method before you send anything.

Health information

Medical documents can contain protected health information. If you are a covered entity or business associate and need a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement, contact us before sending files. Send only what’s needed, and de-identify where you can. We don’t describe ourselves as HIPAA compliant or certified.

How long we keep files

Project files are deleted 90 days after delivery, or sooner if you ask. Order and payment records are kept for 7 years. See the Privacy Policy.
