Terms of service
1. Who we are
These terms apply to purchases from rabbittranslate.com. The site and services are operated by Andrea Valadez, doing business as Rabbit Translate, 4633 W 19th Ln, Yuma, AZ 85364, USA. “We” and “us” mean Rabbit Translate. “You” is the person or business placing the order. By paying, you agree to these terms, our Refund and Cancellation Policy and our Privacy Policy.
2. Packages
We sell translation in fixed-price packages. Each package has a price, a source-word cap, an estimated turnaround and a list of what’s included, shown on the site before you pay. One unit covers one source language into one target language, up to the cap. Quantity = another target language or another document of the same size, each up to the word cap. Anything beyond a cap, any other language pair, rush work and any file needing text extraction is quoted separately and is not billed automatically. Prices are in US dollars. If any sales or transaction privilege tax applies to your order, it will be shown before you pay.
3. Orders and payment
You pay in full through Stripe’s hosted checkout. We never see or store your card number. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and we have no reason to decline it. We may decline an order, for example because the language or file is outside what we do, and if we do we’ll refund you in full.
4. Your responsibilities
You’ll send files after payment, in readable form. You confirm that you have the right to give us the material and that it’s lawful to have translated. Source quality affects the result: blurred scans, missing pages or locked files can delay work or need a quote.
5. Turnaround
Estimated turnaround is in business days. It starts when we have your payment and complete, readable files. It’s an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.
6. Revisions
If the delivered translation contains an error compared with your source, report it within 14 days of delivery and we’ll correct it at no charge. Changes of preference or style, edits to the source after we’ve started, and new files are quoted separately.
7. Certification and notarization
Packages do not include certified or notarized statements. A “certified translation” in the US generally means a signed statement by the translator about completeness and accuracy; it’s not a government certification. Notarization confirms only the identity of a signer. We follow the format the receiving party asks for if you tell us. We cannot guarantee acceptance by any court, agency, regulator or institution.

9. Confidentiality
See Confidentiality. Medical documents can contain protected health information; please read that page before sending any.
10. Ownership
You own your source material and the finished translation. You give us permission to use your files only to deliver the service and to meet our legal obligations.
11. What we aren’t
Our work is translation. It is not legal, medical, financial or technical advice, and we don’t check whether your source is accurate or sufficient for its purpose. We don’t provide interpreting or apostilles.
12. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an item is limited to the amount you paid for that item. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business or rejection of a document by a third party. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
13. Disputes
Please write to us first at payments@rabbittranslate.com; most problems get fixed that way. These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona. Courts in Yuma County, Arizona, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. An order is governed by the version in effect when you paid.
